terdendate polypyridine type ligands and their N-C-N cyclometalating homologues were synthetized and fully characterized (L1-L12). Complete assignments of the 1H spectra of the various compounds, accomplished by using a combination of one- and two-dimensional nmr techniques, and 13C data are also reported.
