CuI-catalyzed coupling of N-acyl-N′-substituted hydrazines with aryl iodides takes place at 60–90 °C to afford N-acyl-N′,N′-disubstituted hydrazines regioselectively and thereby gives a facile method for assembling N,N-diaryl hydrazines.
