A Xyloside‐Based Ligand to Stabilize Gold Nanoparticles: Preparation and Application

Small and air-stable goldnanoparticles (AuNPs) were stabilized in water by a xyloside ligand prepared via clickchemistry from d-xylose. During this work, the coordination triazole chemistry with Au(III) ions was explored. AuNPs were characterized by UV-Vis spectroscopy, DLS and TEM. Their catalytic efficiency for the reduction of 4-nitrophenol was evaluated.
