  The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating neurodegenerative diseases comprising a diterpene, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. Specifically, the diterpene of the present invention can prevent or treat neurodegenerative diseases caused by inhibition of Nurrl activity by activating Nurrl and inhibiting the inflammatory response.
