work is synthesis of some novel azo dye from 1,2-dihydro-4-hydroxy-2-oxoquinoline-6-sulfonic acid (3), 4-hydroxy-6-methoxyquinolin-2(1H)-one (4), and 4-hydroxy-6-nitroquinolin-2(1H)-one (5).
