4H-Decafluorobicyclo(2,2,1)hept-1-yl carboxylic acid chloride gave the corresponding isocyanate which readily afforded appropriate derivatives of carbamic acid, and substituted ureas, all with the bridgehead moiety substituted on nitrogen. The 4H-bridgehead primary amine was made from the isocyanate and directly from the acid chloride. Diazotisation converted it mainly to the bridgehead tertiary alcohol
