Hypervalent alkylsilicates represent new and readily accessible precursors for the generation of alkylradicalsunder photoredox conditions. Alkylradicals generated from such silicates serve as effective hydrogen atom abstractors from thiols, furnishing thiyl radicals. The reactive sulfur species generated in this manner can be funneled into a nickel-mediated cross-coupling cycle employing aromatic

The present invention relates to a dynamic mixture in the form of a dynamic mixture obtained by reacting together, in the presence of water, at least one O-substituted hydroxylamine or S-substituted thiohydroxylamine derivative with at least one perfuming, flavoring, insect repellent or attractant, bactericide or fungicide aldehyde or ketone. This mixture is capable of releasing in a controlled and prolonged manner the aldehyde or ketone into the surrounding environment. Furthermore, the present invention concerns also the use of these dynamic mixtures as perfuming ingredients as well as the perfuming compositions or perfumed articles that include these mixtures.

The present invention relates to the formation of hydrogels based on guanosine hydrazide derivatives in the presence of cations. The hydrogels can be used as a carrier/delivery system for biologically active substances such as flavors, fragrances, insect attractants or repellents, bactericides, fungicides, pharmaceuticals or agrochemicals.
An improved fragrance delivery system capable of providing controlled release of fragrance molecules in various consumer products is composed of a polymer having covalently bound fragrance moieties that are releasable in the form of fragrance molecules. Certain embodiments comprise globular polymer particles in which unbound fragrance molecules are occluded, absorbed and/or adsorbed. Certain other embodiments incorporate fragrance monomer units, which achieve reduced residuals upon complete release of the fragrance.
