  先前通过分子旋转方法得到的（+）3-对甲苯基丁酸2（V）的绝对构型已通过将（-）3-苯基丁酸3 4（VIII）转化为（-）二羧酸而得到证实（XII）与酸（V）的氧化产物对映体。（+）4-对甲苯戊酸（XIX）的绝对构型是基于V的合成而确定的。（-）α-姜黄烯（XXI和XXII）的绝对构型是通过考虑符号得出的降解并通过由（+）3- p合成对映异构体（+）α-姜黄素证实的4- p-甲苯基戊酸的旋转度-甲苯基丁酸（V）。考虑到衍生自其的4-对-甲苯基戊酸的旋转符号，已经确定了（+）γ-姜黄烯5（XXIV）的绝对构型。在使用构象不对称模型进行计算的基础上，已经确认了以前的工作人员建议的（+）4-对甲苯基-1-戊醇6（XXVI）的绝对构型。

  The sesquiterpene constituents of the liverwort Calypogeia suecica (Arn. and Perss.) K. Mull. were investigated. In addition to many known compounds a new sesquiterpene oxide, (+)-bisabola-2,10-diene[1,9]oxide, could be isolated and identified.
