Hydrazinolyse de la 2-Benzoyl-3-oxo-1,4-benzothiazine

The hydroxypyrazole derivatives 2 and 3 have been synthesized by hydrazinolysis of 2-benzoyl-3-oxo-1,4-benzothiazine 1 by ring transformation of the thiazine ring. The mechanism of the hydrazinolysis is described. Products 2 and 3 have been characterized by IR, (1)H and, (13)C NMR spectroscopy, as well as by mass spectrometry. The crystal structure of 4-[(2-aminophenyl)sulfanyl]-5-hydoxy-3-phenyl-1H-pyrazole 2 has been determined. The compound crystallizes monoclinic in the space group P2(1)/n with two ethanol molecules in the formula unit.
