27-Caffeoyloxy-3-beta-hydroxyolean-12-en-28-oic acid (1) and rhoipteleic acids A (2) and B (3), diastereomeric esters composed of two triterpene units and enantiomeric lignan carboxylic acids, were isolated from the bark of Rhoiptelea chiliantha.
