  Pyridobenzothiazine derivatives with high antimicrobial activity having the following general formula: wherein R is H or CH3: n is 0 or 1 or 2 and Y is Cl or F, wherein R1 is a C1-C6 alkyl or a C2-C6 alkenyl, or an arylalkyl, arylalkylcarbonyl, alkylcarbonyl, alkyloxycarbonyl, possibly substituted with halogens or hydroxy groups. The present invention relates also to the processes for obtaining the compounds having the general formula (I).
