The present invention relates to a synthesis method for producing compounds derived from linear geranylorcinols, comprising the condensation of geraniol with orcinol, catalysed by a Lewis acid and the use of a secondary catalyst; to compounds derived from linear geraniylorcinols, and to the use of said compounds as antifungals against Botrytis Cinerea.
