Abstract The reactions of O,O-diterpenyl dithiophosphoricacids with pyrimidine (cytosine, uracil and thymine) and purine (adenine and guanine) bases, rhodanine, melamine and xymedon were carried out to yield the substituted pyrimidinium and other salts of dithiophosphoricacids. The antimicrobial activity of salts obtained from xymedon and melamine were evaluated.

Dithiophosphoricacids in the terms of (S)-(–)-menthol, (1S)-endo-(–)-borneol,(1R)-endo-(+)-fenchyl alcohol and (1S,2S,3S,5R)-(+)-isopinocampheol react with melatonin to form chiral N-acetyl 5-methoxytryptammonium dithiophosphates.
