Provided is a non-ionic photoacid generator (A) expressed by general formula (1). R1 and R2 each independently represents an alkyl group having 1-18 carbons or a fluoroalkyl group having 1-18 carbons, an alkenyl group having 2-18 carbons, an alkynyl group having 2-18 carbons, an aryl group having 6-18 carbons, a silyl group, or the like; m and n respectively represent the number of R1s and R2s, each number being an integer from 0 to 3, and the total number (m+n) of R1s and R2s being an integer from 1 to 6. The m number of R1s and the n number of R2s may each be the same or different. R3 represents a hydrocarbon having 1-18 carbons wherein one part or all of the hydrogen may be substituted by fluorine.
Compounds having the general structure A - L - B are presented wherein A and B are independently an E3 ubiquitin ligase protein binding ligand compound of formula 1A or 1 B. Pharmaceutical compositions comprising these compounds and methods of use are also presented.

A method of producing a diol derivative efficiently and to high purity is provided. A method of the present invention, for producing an iodizing agent, includes the step of electrolyzing iodine molecules in a solution by using an acid as a supporting electrolyte. This realizes (i) a method of producing an iodine cation suitable for use as an iodizing agent that does not require a sophisticated separation operation after iodizing reaction is completed, and (ii) an electrolyte used in the method. Further, a method of the present invention, for producing an aromatic iodine compound, includes the step of causing an iodizing agent, and an aromatic compound whose nucleus has one or more substituent groups and two or more hydrogen atoms, to react with each other under the presence of a certain ether compound. This realizes such a method of producing an aromatic iodine compound that position selectivity in iodizing reaction of an aromatic compound is improved.
