Novel cross-conjugated oligomers composed of p-quinone methides and thiophenes, synthesized up to tetramer, possess substantially high electron affinity (CV). Alkali metal reduction of the dimer yields a stereoisomeric mixture of stable dianions, and protonation with trifluoroacetic acid generates the corresponding monocation and dication depending on acid strength.
由对苯醌甲基化物和噻吩组成的新型交叉共轭低聚物,一直合成到四聚体,具有很高的电子亲和力(CV)。二聚体的碱金属还原产生稳定的二价阴离子的立体异构混合物,并且根据酸强度,用三氟乙酸质子化生成相应的单阳离子和双阳离子。
