    Abstract 9,10-Diaryldecahydroacridine-1,8-diones were synthesized by a three-component reaction of aromatic aldehydes, aromatic amines, and 5,5-dimethyl-1,3-cyclohexanedione using sodium 1-dodecanesulfonic (SDS) as the catalyst in aqueous media.
