  In the presence of HMPT as a cosolvent, uncomplexed PdCl2 can be used in addition reactions of reducing or non-reducing Grignard reagents with disubstituted acetylenic compounds. Stereospecific conjugated dienes are obtained in good yields together with dialkylation and reduction products.
