  In the presence of HMPT as a cosolvent, uncomplexed PdCl2 can be used in addition reactions of reducing or non-reducing Grignard reagents with disubstituted acetylenic compounds. Stereospecific conjugated dienes are obtained in good yields together with dialkylation and reduction products.

  Some alkynes were diarylated by aryltributylstannane 2 in the presence of palladium salt in moderate to good yield with high stereoselectivity. The reaction was catalytic in palladium using copper(II) chloride dihydrate as a reoxidant.
