An efficient RuPHOX-Ru catalyzed asymmetric Guerbet reaction of secondary alcohols with a broad scope of primary alcohols has been developed, affording long-chain chiral alcohols in high yields with excellent enantioselectivities (up to 99% yield and 96% ee).
