  The present disclosure relates to polycationic monochromophoric hydrazone compounds of following formula (I): wherein W 1 is a heteroaromatic radical comprising 5 or 6 ring members, optionally condensed with an aromatic ring comprising 6 ring members, comprising a quaternized nitrogen atom and optionally another heteroatom which may or may not be identical to nitrogen; X, which may or may not be identical, is a nitrogen atom or a CR 2 group; Z is a cationic group comprising at least one quaternized nitrogen atom.
