Microwave-Assisted Three-Component Synthesis of Some Novel 1-Alkyl-1H-indole-2,3-dione 3-(O-Alkyloxime) Derivatives as Potential Chemotherapeutic Agents
A convenient and efficient method for a one‐pot conversion of N‐alkylisatins to N‐alkylisatin O‐alkyloximes 7a–7n as potential chemotherapeutic agents is described (Scheme) (isatin=1H‐indole‐2,3‐dione). In this method, the microwave‐assisted three‐component reaction of N‐alkylisatins 8, hydroxylamine hydrochloride, and diverse alkyl halides in the presence of K2CO3 and Bu4NBr furnishes the corresponding

Magnetic, supported, acidic ionic liquid was synthesized and identified as an efficient catalyst for the one-pot synthesis of novel spirooxindole derivatives at mild conditions and in good yields. Three component reaction of wide variety of substituted isatins, 1,3-dimethyl-2-amino uracil, and barbituric acid, thiobarbituric acid, and dimedon as 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds gives the target compounds.
[Problems] A compound, which is useful as an active ingredient for a pharmaceutical composition, for example a pharmaceutical composition for treating constipation-type irritable bowel syndrome, atonic constipation and/or functional gastrointestinal disorder, is provided.
[Means for Solution] The present inventors have extensively studied compounds having TRPA1 channel activation activity, and confirmed that an indolinone compound has a TRPA1 channel activation activity, and thus completed the present invention. The indolinone compound of the present invention has a TRPA1 channel activation activity and can be used as an active ingredient of a pharmaceutical composition for preventing and/or treating constipation-type irritable bowel syndrome, atonic constipation and/or functional gastrointestinal disorder or the like.
Phenoxy pendant isatins as potent α-glucosidase inhibitors: reciprocal carbonyl⋯carbonyl interactions, antiparallel π⋯π stacking driven solid state self-assembly and biological evaluation
The CO⋯CO and antiparallel displaced π⋯πstacking interactions are mainly involved in the formation of 1D-stair like supramolecular chains of 4 whereas antiparallel π⋯πstacking interactions drive the formation of 1D-columnar stacks of 9. These compounds not only highlight the potential of the isatin moiety in forming strong CO⋯CO and antiparallel π⋯πstacking interactions but also are interesting

A highly efficient non-imidazolium DABCO-based ionic liquid has been prepared for the synthesis of biologically active Morita-Baylis-Hillman adducts from activated ketones. The results show that the ionic liquid is very efficient in the Morita-Baylis-Hillman reaction due to its operational simplicity, high yields, dual catalyst-solvent properties, and excellent recyclability and reusability. This hydroxy ionic liquid acts as a protic solvent and tertiary amine for the preparation of biologically active compounds from isatin, ninhydrin, 1,2-acenaphthylenequinone, and benzil with high yields and very short reaction times.
