Based on cyclobutane β-amino acids as convenient precursors, chiral scaffolds containing functional groups (FG), namely primary alcohol, carboxylic acid, carbon-carbon triple bond, linked to the core through a flexible fragment, have been synthesized. Some hybrid tripeptides containing additional functions have been prepared to show their potential providing chemical platforms suitable to build complex
