Synthesis, characterization, and catalytic behaviors of β-carbonylenamine-derived metal complexes (M = Ti, Zr) in styrene polymerization
摘要:
The titanium and zirconium complexes based on thioether substituted beta-carbonylenamine were prepared and characterized. In the presence of MMAO, the titanium complexes showed good activity in syndiospecific styrene polymerization with high syndioselectivity, and performed good thermal stability. Electron withdrawing group on ligands is beneficial to the styrene polymerization. [1,3-diphenyl-3-(2-(isopropylthio)ethylimino)prop-1-en-1-olate](2)ZrCl2(IV) could also polymerize styrene to give syndiotactic polymer, however in low activity and with low syndioselectivity. Copolymerization of Ethylene with Functionalized Olefins by [ONX] Titanium Complexes
摘要:
A series of titanium complexes bearing [ONX] tridentate ligands have been synthesized and characterized. The complexes containing sulfur or phosphine donors showed high activity in the copolymerization of ethylene with 9-decen-1-ol (up to 1.3 x 10(8) g polymer (mol Ti)(-1) h(-1)) with an incorporation ratio of up to 8.8 mol %. Moreover, they have also shown excellent capability for copolymerization of ethylene with AlBu3i (or tert-butylchlorodimethylsilane) pretreated 4-penten-1-ol, omega-alkenoic acid, and omega-alkenoic ester, as well as unprotected tertiary amine.
