    摘要:
    Aerobic epoxidation of unsaturated substrates has been achieved under Mukaiyama's conditions (atmospheric pressure of dioxygen, in the presence of an excess of sacrificial aldehyde) with or without metal catalyst. The influence of light in non-catalysed reactions and the possible role of the aldehyde and of the metal complex in catalysed reactions are discussed. Two mechanistic pathways are proposed for Co(II) and Fe(III) [Ni(II)] catalytic centres.

    Trans-2,2,6-trimethylcyclohexyl methyl ketone, including (1S,6R)-2,2,6-trimethylcyclohexyl methyl ketone represented by the formula (1a): 1 and (1R,6S)-2,2,6-trimethylcyclohexyl methyl ketone represented by the formula (1b): 2 are useful components in a perfume composition. A process for producing the same is also described. A unique eucalyptus, mint-like and white floral perfume material is provided using the ketone compounds disclosed in the present invention. The process of the present invention produces the optically active ketone compounds having optical purity up to at least 98.0% e.e.

    Provided is citronellol, which has an elegant rosy fragrance and is extremely useful for fragrance impartation to aromatic articles. A mixture of an alkylamine and isoprene in a molar ratio of from 1:4 to 1:4.5 is subjected to telomerization at 80 to 100° C. for 2.5 to 3.5 hours in the presence of an alkyllithium catalyst and/or phenyllithium catalyst to obtain a nerylamine compound containing 2 to 10 wt % &agr;-nerylamine compound represented by general formula (4). 1 From this nerylamine compound, citronellol containing 2 to 10 wt % optically active 3,7-dimethyl-7-octenol is produced through the reaction steps of asymmetric isomerization, hydrolysis, and hydrogenation.

    The reaction of isopulegol with sulfuryl chloride leads in certain conditions to a mixture of 8-chloro citronellal and 6-chloro isocitronellal. The radical character of this fragmentation is supported by the result of two reactions known to proceed via an alkoxy radical.

    The deliberate release of odorants or aroma substances is desirable in many fields of application, and in particular in the field of washing and cleaning agents. Said deliberate release is achieved by using an odorant composition that comprises an odorant precursor, which is an allyl ether of the formula (I), R 1 R 2 C═CR 3 —CR 4 R 5 —O—CHR 6 R 7 , in which the residues R 1 , R 2 , R 3 , R 4 , R 5 , R 6 and R 7 mutually independently denote H or a hydrocarbon residue that can be acyclic or cyclic, substituted or unsubstituted, branched or unbranched, as well as saturated or unsaturated. Thus, in particular odorants in the form of an alkene having an allylic hydrogen atom, such as α-pinene, can be released in a deliberate manner.
