A novel and efficient synthesis of enantiomerically pure alpha-dibenzylamino alpha'-sulfinyl ketones starting from a mixture of both epimers of alpha-bromo alpha'-(R)-sulfinyl Ketone has been realized through combined in situ substitution-epimerization in so-called Dynamic Kinetic Resolution (DKR).
