ABSTRACT Various dialkyl azodicarboxylates were investigated for the dehydrogenation of 1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinolines to quinolines. The dehydrogenation rates varied according to the electronic and steric nature of the used dialkyl azodicarboxylates.
