reaction of substituted 1,2-difluorovinylstannanes with anhydrous Cu(OAc)2 in dimethylformamide, under an oxygen atmosphere, at room temperature stereospecifically gives the corresponding symmetrical 1,3-dienes in good to excellent yields.
