The anodicoxidations of polyalkyl-substituted cyclopropanes (1–3) and spiro[2.n]alkanes (4–6) were carried out in methanol. Monomethoxyolefin and dimethoxy compound resulted from the selective cleavage at the most substituted carbon–carbon bond.
