Bis- and tetrakis(triphenylstannyl)tetrathiafulvalenes were prepared from the corresponding lithio-derivatives and chlorotriphenyltin, and their structures were determined by X-ray analysis. Their absorption maxima in the electronic spectrum showed a bathochromic shift. Their redox potentials shifted only a little to a lower region.
