Abstract New nickel(II) complexes with macrocyclic ligands bearing benzyloxy [( 5 ), ( 9 )], 2-methylbenzyloxy ( 7 ), 3-methylbenzyloxy ( 8 ), and hydroxy ( 6 ) groups on the pyridine ring have been synthesized.
