In the quest for potential bifunctional fluorinated synthons, we examined the behavior of chlorodifluoroacetic and hexafluoroglutaric anhydride in their reaction with acid chlorides in the presence of pyridine under the conditions of Zard trifluoromethylketone synthesis.
