  The reaction of the anion of methymethoxycarbenotungsten with enol ethers leads, after protonation, to new alkylidene complexes which result from the pericyclic addition of the two aforementioned species. Treatment of these new complexes with base gives after alcohol elimination the new vinylalkylidene complexes of tungsten.
