1-Morpholino-cyclopenten-2-carboxylic acidanilides react with CF3SCl in molar ratio 1:2 to give products of the displacement of two hydrogen atoms at C-2 and C-5. The analogous reaction with enamines of cyclohexanono- and cycloheptanono- 2-carboxylic acidanilides and benzoylacetanilides proceeds in 1:1 molar ratios affording enamines and keto compounds.
