The present invention relates to piperidine-based renin inhibitor compounds having carboxylate or carboxylic acid terminal groups, and their use in treating cardiovascular events and renal insufficiency.
Naphthyridine compounds and their use as inhibitors of HPK1 are described. The compounds are useful in treating HPK1-dependent disorders and enhancing an immune response. Also described are methods of inhibiting HPK1, methods of treating HPK1-dependent disorders, methods for enhancing an immune response, and methods for preparing the naphthyridine compounds.

The copper(I) complex (FcNN)Cu(OTf) (1; FcNN=N,N′-ethylenebis[(ferrocenylmethylene)amine] catalyzes reactions of ethyl diazoacetate with alkenes to form cyclopropanes in high yield. The same complex also catalyzes nitrene transfer from PhI=NTs to alkenes to produce aziridines in high yield.
