    nucleophiles. We report here the reaction of this iminium ion with aromatic nucleophiles to give N-arylmethyl arenes and the reaction with heteroaromatic compounds to give fused polycyclic heteroaromatic products in a formal [4+2] cycloaddition. The short synthesis of isocrytolepine, an antimalarial agent, further demonstrated the utility of this process.

    It is an object of the present invention to provide fluorinated bis(phthalic anhydride) which has less coloration and higher solubility in comparison with conventional compounds, and a method for producing the same. Further, it is also an object of the present invention to provide a method for producing a fluorinated bis(phthalonitrile) compound, which is an intermediate raw material compound of the method for producing the fluorinated bis(phthalic anhydride), and a polyamic acid and a polyimide, which are produced from the fluorinated bis(phthalic anhydride). A fluorinated bis(phthalic anhydride) of the present invention is the fluorinated bis(phthalic anhydride) represented by the following formula (I 1 ), wherein its specific surface area is 3.0 m 2 /g or larger. It is also characterized in that its molar absorption coefficient is 0.6 L/mol·cm or less at a wavelength of 360 nm.     The invention aims to provide a method by which a solution of polyimide can be easily obtained. Further, the invention aims to provide a fluorinated polyimide solution by which fluorinated polyimide excellent especially as an optical material and an electronic functional material can easily be produced. The production method of the soluble polyimide solution according to invention is characterized by mixing a mixture containing a polyamide acid, a cyclodehydration reagent, and a solvent by a rotation-revolution mixing method. Further, the fluorinated polyimide solution of the invention is a solution of polyimide defined by the following formula (II): wherein, X and Y independently represent divalent organic groups; Z represents chlorine atom, bromine atom, or iodine atom; p represents an integer of 1 to 3; q represents an integer of 0 to 2; and p+q=3.

    Provided are a photosensitive resin composition which enables production of a lithographic printing plate precursor having a non-image portion which has good solubility in an alkali aqueous solution and which enables production of a lithographic printing plate having excellent chemical resistance and excellent printing durability, a lithographic printing plate precursor obtained by using the photosensitive resin composition, a method for producing a lithographic printing plate, and a new polymer compound. The photosensitive resin composition of the present invention contains: a polymer compound which has an amine bond or a quaternary ammonium salt bond, and at least one bond selected from the group consisting of a urea bond, a urethane bond, and a carbonate bond in the main chain and has a sulfonamide group or a phenolic hydroxyl group in the main chain and/or the side chain; and an infrared absorbing material.
