A new couple of enantiomeric chiral cyclometalatedplatinum(II) complexes Pt(La)(CC–Ph) (1a) and Pt(Lb)(CC–Ph) (1b) (La = (−)-4,5-pinene-6′-phenyl-2,2′-bipyridine, Lb = (+)-4,5-pinene-6′-phenyl-2,2′-bipyridine) have been designed and synthesized.
