A non-polydispersed mixture of conjugates in which each conjugate in the mixture comprises a drug coupled to an oligomer that includes a polyalkylene glycol moiety is disclosed. The mixture may exhibit higher in vivo activity than a polydispersed mixture of similar conjugates. The mixture may be more effective at surviving an in vitro model of intestinal digestion than polydispersed mixtures of similar conjugates. The mixture may result in less inter-subject variability than polydispersed mixtures of similar conjugates.

A process for preparing a copolymer composition A) by free-radical copolymerization of a monomer composition comprising: a) acrylic acid, b) optionally at least one compound, different from a), having a free-radically polymerizable, α,β-ethylenically unsaturated double bond and at least one anionogenic and/or anionic group per molecule, c) at least one free-radically polymerizable crosslinking compound which comprises at least two α,β-ethylenically unsaturated double bonds per molecule. The process is performed by precipitation polymerization in the presence of an auxiliary composition H) comprising H1) glycerol monostearate, and H2) at least one compound with an HLB value in the range from 4 to 10, selected from water-insoluble natural waxes, nonionic emulsifiers and mixtures thereof.

Polyvinyl chloride articles such as bottles and films are provided which have a high degree of clarity, low haze, low blush, excellent color stability and which do not impart taste and odor to the contents of the article. A novel composition is used to form the articles. Said composition comprises at least one ingredient selected from the group having the formula:

and
R-O-X-O-R.
X in the above formulas is a straight chain, branched or cyclic radical having from 2 to about 20 oxygen atoms, preferable from 2 to l0 and more preferably from 2 to 6. At least one of said oxygen atoms must form an ether linkange and the remainder may form ether, epoxy or hydroxy bonds or mixtures thereof. X also has from about 4 to about 60 carbon atoms, preferably 6 to 30, more preferably 6 to 20. R is a straight chain radical having from about 5 to about 40 carbon atoms, preferably l2 to 20.

The invention provides a nanoemulsion adjuvant and a preparation method thereof, which are composed of the following components: a continuous aqueous phase containing H2O molecules, an oil phase material containing fats and oils, and an emulsion system for stabilizing the interface between the continuous aqueous phase and the oil phase, and the emulsion system is an emulsifier mixture. The adjuvant is characterized in that the emulsion system does not contain an ionic emulsifier and the particle size of the emulsion is between 20 and 200 nanometers. The use of the nanoemulsion adjuvant can prevent toxicity and possible harm of ionic emulsifiers to human cells, and provide a vaccine preparation capable of eliciting a high degree of immune response.
