生物活性 Ophiobolin B 是一种由 Helminthosporium oryzae 产生的二倍半萜类化合物 (sesterterpene)，能够抑制玉米胚芽鞘的质子挤出。此外，它还能抑制壳梭孢素（FC）促进的质子挤出、钾的摄取以及细胞增大。Ophiobolins B 对不同接合菌的最低抑菌浓度 (MIC) 值为 25-50 μg/mL。
