  Beschrieben werden neue diazinsubstituierte 1-Adamantane der Formel worin R für einen unsubstituierten oder einen beispielsweise durch Alkyl, Alkoxy, Aryl, Amino, Acylamino, Hydroxy, Ada­mant-1-yl, Halogen oder Pseudohalogen substituierten Pyrida­zinring, Pyrazinring oder Pyrimidinring steht. Diese Verbin­dungen können beispielsweise durch elektrochemische Synthese in einem Reaktionsschritt aus 1-Halogenadamantanen und ent­sprechenden Pyridazinen, Pyrazinen oder Pyrimidinen in einem aprotischen Lösungsmittel und in Anwesenheit eines Leitsalzes hergestellt werden. Sie finden beispielsweise als Arzneimit­tel Anwendung und zeichnen sich durch eine interessante viro­statische Wirksamkeit und vor allem eine Wirksamkeit gegen Influenzaviren aus.
