制备方法与用途

化学性质：淡黄色透明油状液体。

用途：用作丁苯橡胶的聚合引发剂。它具有较快的引发速度，相比过氧化氢异丙苯快30%~50%，但比过氧化氢三异丙苯及过氧化氢叔丁基异丙苯稍慢。此外，也可用于其他高聚物的引发。

本品与皮肤接触可能会引起烧伤。

生产方法：此产品是异丙苯氧化制备苯酚和丙酮过程中的中间副产物。通过将含有11%左右二异丙苯的苯与丙烯反应得到的异丙苯，在110～120℃下进行空气直接氧化，氧化塔顶压力约为0.3MPa，生成过氧化氢二异丙苯的氧化液。随后在减压条件下提浓至50%~60%，即作为产品使用，其相对密度为(20/4℃)0.935～0.960，折射率为1.4880～1.510。
