K2S2O8/TEMPO-Induced Cascade Oxidative Cyclization/1,2-Migration of Electron-Deficient Groups: Strategy for the Construction of 1H-Pyrrol-2(3H)-ones
摘要:
A K2S2O8/TEMPO-induced oxidative cyclization of N-unprotected enaminoesters and enaminones that gave 1H-pyrrol-2(3H)-ones in good yields with broad functional group compatibility is reported. This method provides easy access to 1,2-carbon migration of ester or acyl group under transition-metal-free conditions.

Rearrangement of quaternary 6-aryl-2-methyl-3(5)-nitropyridinium salts was used for the synthesis of unsymmetrical nitrobiaryls. The starting nitropyridines were obtained by a three-component one-pot synthesis, two-step Hantzsch synthesis using nitro ketones, and by cyclocondensation of acylpyruvates with enamines derived from nitroacetone and nitroacetophenones.

m-terphenyls were obtained by the rearrangement of quaternary nitropyridiniumsalts under the action of aqueous alcoholic alkali and aqueous methylamine. Hantzsch 4-aryl-2-methyl-5-nitro-6-phenyl-1,4-dihydropyridines obtained by the cyclocondensation of nitrochalcones with various enamines were used as starting compounds.
