    A method for preparing nylon microspheres is provided, said method comprising steps (1), (2) and (3) or steps (1′), (2) and (3) as follows: (1) a radically polymerizable monomer is dispersed in a molten lactam monomer, and a free radical initiator is added, so that radical polymerization of the radically polymerizable monomer is carried out, to give a mixture of a free radical polymer and the lactam monomer; or (1′) a mixture of a free radical polymer and a molten lactam monomer is provided; and (2) an initiator and an activator, used for anionic ring-opening polymerization of the lactam monomer, are added to the mixture obtained in step (1) wherein the remaining radically polymerizable monomer and water are removed, or to the mixture obtained in step (1′), so that the anionic ring-opening polymerization of the lactam is carried out to give a polymer alloy of the free radical polymer/polyamide; and (3) the free radical polymer in the polymer alloy obtained in step (2) is removed by dissolution, giving nylon microspheres. Nylon microspheres are also provided, wherein the weight average molecular weight of the nylon lies in the range of 10000-300000, and the particle size of the nylon microspheres lies in the range of 0.1-500 μm.

    The present invention relates to the technical field of polymer composite material, and a nano particle/polyamide composite material, a preparation method therefor and a use thereof are disclosed. The nano particle/polyamide composite material comprises 0.01-99 parts by weight of inorganic nano particles and 1-99.99 parts by weight of a polyamide matrix. The preparation method for the nano particle/polyamide composite material of the present invention comprises hydrolysis polymerization or anionic polymerization. The nano particle/polyamide composite material of the present invention has the particular functions of nano materials, while having the advantages of the polymer matrix such as good mechanical performance and being easy for processing and molding. The nano particle is well dispersed in the polyamide matrix, is physically stable, and has a strong interaction at an interface between the nano particles and the polymer matrix, thus being useful as a structural material, a functional material and a polymer masterbatch. The cost of raw materials used in the synthesis method is low, the production apparatus is simple, and the route is green and environment friendly. Therefore, the method is applicable to large-scale industrial production.

    Extremely rapid ambient curing of polyepoxide resins and mixtures of polyepoxide resins and polyacrylate esters is achieved by use of a curing system composed of at least one polymercaptan and at least one catalytic co-curing agent which is the condensation product of: (a) aliphatic amine or substituted aliphatic amine containing at least one primary aliphatic amine group where the aliphatic moiety is ethylene or greater with (b) at least one amino acid, its corresponding lactam or other amide forming derivative. Optionally, known Lewis Base catalysts for the epoxy/ mercaptan reaction, such as tertiary amines, may also be used.

    A method for producing a polyether-polyamide block copolymer comprises copolymerizing, in the presence of an anionic polymerization catalyst, a lactam and a polyether prepolymer represented by the formula: wherein R1 is an aliphatic hydrocarbon residual group having 2 to 6 carbon atoms, R2 is an aliphatic hydrocarbon residual group having 3 to 12 carbon atoms, and n is an integer of 4 to 450. The polyester prepolymer is prepared by reacting a polyoxyalkylene having two terminal hydroxy groups with an N-chlorocarbonyl lactam. The polyether-polyamide copolymer has high impact strength and is substantially colorless.
