The synthesis and olefin polymerization behavior of a series of new phosphine-iminoquinoline iron complexes is described. Upon activation, the iron complexes are highly active for ethylene polymerization, producing low molecular weight (MW) linear polyethylene (PE) with activities up to 108 g of PE/((mol of Fe) h).
