  （Z）-茉莉酮，二氢茉莉酮和其他3-甲基环=戊-2-烯-1-酮很容易从醛和1-（2-甲基-1,3-二氧戊环-2-基）-2-硝基乙烷开始合成作为3-酮丁基阴离子合成子的试剂。硝基-醛醇缩合反应是链支化反应，然后通过对甲苯磺酰基hydr将相应的α-硝基酮=酮氧化和脱硝。除去保护基得到1，4-二酮，然后将其用碱环化。

  (Z)-Jasmone ,dihydrojasmone and other 3-methylcyclo=pent-2-en-1-ones are easily synthesized starting from aldehydes and 1-(2-methyl-1,3-dioxolane-2-yl)-2-nitroethane as reagent for 3-ketobutyl anion synthon.
