    A polyvinyl chloride resin sheet which is excellent in resistance to scratch, wear and slip and hence suitable for use as flooring materials, which has a thickness of 50-500 µm; an embossed and matted surface of which roughness is 15-25 µm; and a transmittance of not less than 75%, and which comprises: (a) polyvinyl chloride; (b) a plasticizer in an amount of 5-35 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of polyvinyl chloride; and (c) short glass fibers having a diameter of 6-12 µm and an average length of 0.2-1.0 mm in an amount of 0.5-30 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of polyvinyl chloride.

    Disclosed herein is a high-performance and highly-reliable solar cell module sealed with a solar cell sealing material which allows solar cell quality to be maintained over a long period of time due to its excellent water vapor barrier properties and adhesion properties and which has excellent recycle properties and module productivity. The solar cell module is sealed with a solar cell sealing material containing an epoxy-modified polyolefin resin composition obtained by introducing an epoxy group-containing monomer by a grafting reaction. The epoxy-modified polyolefin resin composition is preferably obtained by melt-kneading a polyolefin resin with an epoxy group-containing vinyl monomer and an aromatic vinyl monomer in the presence of a radical polymerization initiator.

    The invention provides a carbon fiber-reinforced composite material including reinforcing fibers which are continuous carbon fibers in the form of a unidirectional (UD) material, a woven fabric, or a knitted fabric, and a matrix resin including a modified polyolefin resin, thereby achieving better adhesion and mechanical strength. The matrix resin forms a polyphase structure having a sea-island structure which has an average island (independent phase) diameter of not greater than 0.5 µm. The composite material includes as a matrix resin a modified polyolefin resin obtained by, for example, graft-modifying a polyolefin resin with a monomer that contains an ethylenic double bond and a polar group in the same molecule; and includes as reinforcing fibers continuous carbon fibers. For example, the fiber-reinforced composite material is obtained by stacking the modified polyolefin resin and carbon fibers in a mold with a predetermined shape, and impregnating the carbon fibers with the modified polyolefin resin in a molten state under pressure, followed by cooling and curing.

    The present invention relates to a laminated adhesive film for insert molding, which includes a laminate of a tacky adhesive film containing a modified polyolefin resin and a non-tacky thermoplastic resin film. The present invention aims to provide a highly heat-resistant laminated adhesive film which can form on a metal component an adhesive layer that shows favorable adhesion to a resin to be injection-molded, by a VOC-free high-productivity method. The laminated adhesive film for insert molding of the present invention includes a laminate of a tacky adhesive film containing a modified polyolefin resin obtained through graft-modification with a monomer that contains an ethylenic double bond and a polar group in the same molecule, and a non-tacky thermoplastic resin film.
