  The present invention relates to a flame-retardant polyolefin composition or to a fiber comprising (i) at least one polyolefin; (ii) tris(tribromoneopentyl) phosphate; and (iii) free radical source. The composition may further comprise an additional flame-retarding compound, which may be selected from an inorganic or an organic compound. It may further comprise ultra violet protectants. The invention is also related to a textile object comprised of a plurality of said fibers and to injection or extruded molded articles produced from said flame-retardant compositon.
