Synthesis and antiproliferative activity of alkylphosphocholines
摘要:
Alkylphosphocholines (APC) with one or more methylene groups in the alkyl chain replaced by oxygen atoms or carbonyl groups, or both have been assembled modularly using w-diols as central building blocks. Out of 25 new compounds of this kind, I I were evaluated for their antiproliferative activity on four cell lines and compared with miltefosine to evaluate their hemolytic activity (HA); and cytotoxicity on non-tumoral cells (MT2), used as markers of adverse effects. Compound 13 was more active on cancer cell lines than on non-tumoral cells and the data were similar for MTT and thymidine incorporation assays. It had less HA than miltefosine, Compound 13 could therefore be a candidate for the preparation of compounds with higher cytotoxicity on cancer cells and lower general toxicity. to decrease with increasing the alkyl chain length, whereas the logP value, πCMC value, Αmin value and pC20 value showed the opposite trend with increasing the alkyl chain length. In addition, decyloxyethyl α-d-glucopyranoside showed the strongest emulsifying activity in n-octane/water system and rapeseed oil/water system, and it also had the best foaming properties. Therefore, an effective introduction
A method of producing a diol derivative efficiently and to high purity is provided. Specifically, the present invention relates to a method of producing a diol derivative having, as a fundamental step, a step of obtaining an &agr;-hydroxycarboxylic acid ester by reacting (i) one or more 1,2-diols or (ii) a 1,2-diol and a primary alcohol as starting material(s) with oxygen in the presence of a catalyst comprising metal loaded on a carrier.
