The scope of the novel ruthenium‐catalyzed tandem cross‐metathesis/intramolecular‐hydroarylation sequence is described. This methodology offers a practical and efficient synthesis of structurally diverse and complex tetrahydrocarbazoles in good to excellent yields (up to 98 %).
