  Preparation of new kinds of norbornene episulfides by use of arenethiosulfenyl chlorides has been investigated. Norbornene and 7,7-dimethylnorbornene afforded exo and endo epithio derivatives, respectively. Norbornadiene gave a mixture of exo and endo monoepithio compounds.
