본 발명은 2-치환된 퀴놀린 화합물의 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 이소티오우로늄 염 및 한치에스터를 포함하는 촉매 조성물을 이용하여 2-치환된 퀴놀린 화합물을 수소화 전환 반응시켜 2-치환된 1,2,3,4-테트라하이드로퀴놀린 화합물을 제조하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따라 보다 향상된 반응 효율 및 반응속도로 2-치환된 1,2,3,4-테트라하이드로퀴놀린 화합물을 높은 수율로 제조할 수 있다.
