    Growth-Inhibitory Activities of Benzofuran and Chromene Derivatives toward Tenebrio molitor
    摘要:
    Growth-inhibitory activities of selected natural benzofurans (4-9), trans-cinnamic acid derivatives (10-13), chromene compounds (14 and 16), and some semisynthetic derivatives were determined in last instar larvae of Tenebrio molitor via topical administration in Me2CO. The mast inhibitory of the tested compounds were 3-gamma,gamma-dimethylallyl-p-coumaric acid (10) and the benzofuran derivative 12-(p-cumaroyloxy)-tremetone (5), the former compound acting on the pupae and the latter on the last instar larvae. Several developmental deficiencies were observed, and some structure-activity relationships are discussed.

    Ph3PAuNTf2 (≈1 mol-%) catalyzes the selective cycloisomerization of substituted aryl propargyl ethers into 2H-chromenes in excellent yields.     By monitoring with a choleretic activity test for rat-duodenum, two new choleretic principles named capillartemisin A (1) and B (2) were isolated from Artemisiae Capillaris Herba ("Inchinko" in Japanese, the aerial part of Artemisia capillaris Thunb.), and their structures were determined on the basis of spectral evidence and by a synthesis of the methyl ester of 1 (1a). Capillartemisin A (1) and B (2) showed more potent and lasting choleretic activity than sodium dehydrocholate and the other hitherto identified choleretic principles of "Inchinko". A new flavonoid isoarcapillin (6) was also chemically elucidated.

    The invention relates to a method for producing an extract containing hydroxycinnamic acids, characterized in that the method uses one or more vegetable waste products from the productions of vegetable food products as a raw material, and comprising the following steps: a) selecting at least one waste product from at least one specific vegetable; b) extracting the hydroxycinnamic acids present in the waste product; c) separating the main liquid phase containing the extracted compounds from the solids; d) clarifying the liquid phase produced in step c) and e) concentrating the clarified liquid phase. The invention also relates to the extract produced via this production method, and the formulation containing this extract.
